Production Process Growing Media Product
- Coco chips and coco peat should be sieved separately before mixing in order to remove long fibre (> 15 mm) and fine dust (< 0.5 mm) to keep uniformity of the material. (According to the customer requirement)
- During the sieving process impurities, foreign materials and metal pieces should be removed and material should be ready for the production.
- The coco chips and coco peat should be mixed to a ratio (by volume or weight) based on the customer requirement
- Sieved coco peat and coco chips should be blended properly as per a ratio given by customer.
- Blended coco mixture should be weighed and conveyed to the compressing machine.
- Fix the relevant mold size based on customer requested slab parameters.
- Blended mixture should be fed into the mold of compressing machine and evenly distribute balancing the mold level before pressing.
- Compress the material under setup pressure and slab can be removed from the mold.
- Make plant holes as required by customer and place on the inspection table.
- Compete the in-process inspection procedure before packing.
- Insert the slab into grow bag with upside down and seal the second edge.
- Paste the traceability stickers on each finished product .
- Checked the pallets and placed the finished Product on the pallets while balancing the weight.
- Tight the pallets with plastic strapping by placing corner reinforcements.
- Blow out the dust and covered by stretch film.
- Goods storage area should be well cleaned and controlled.
- Finished product should be stored under roof with protection against the environmental exposure.
- Each pallet should be weighed and keep on order for loading.
- Each pallet should be labelled with product identification information (Product name, Order No., Manufacturing date, Batch No., Quantity etc.)
- Identification colour code, trade name or customer logo will be displayed on customer request.
- Request National Plant Quarantine Service (NPQS) for phytosanitary certificate.
- Arrange inspection and sampling by NPQS.
- Check the approval of phytosanitary certificate.
- Prepare shipping documents.
- Check and collect container in good condition.
- Container should be inspected for damages in floor, roof and side walls.
- Close the container and check for light penetration holes or water leaking holes.
- Check for cleanliness or remains of previous materials included.
- Take photos to record the condition of container.
- Check the finished goods on pallets for dust and impurities.
- Check to ensure air tight covering of stretch film.
- Load the container by forklift with careful handling and under supervision.
- Arrange container fumigation if customer requested.
